Monsoon remains subdued in Himachal, rain deficit rises to 34%

This year, rain deficit of Himachal Pradesh has risen to 34 percent due to subdued monsoon. Many parts of the state recorded moderate rainfall while remaining parts witnessed dry spell or subdued monsoon. Humidity levels were recorded to be higher as the sky remained overcast.  As compared to normal 355.8 mm, so far the state has registered only 244.8mm rainfall.
