CM pays obeisance at Hatu Temple Narkanda

Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh, along with his wife and former Member of Parliament Smt.  Pratibha Singh visited Hatu temple at Narkanda early today morning and paid obeisance at the famous Mahakali Shrine.

Irrigation & Public Health Minister Smt. Vidya Stokes welcomed the Chief Minister at Hatu.

Later Chief Minister inspected the under construction three storey additional block of  HPTDC hotel at Narkanda, which will provide extra boarding and lodging facilities to the visitors visiting the place all the year around.

The Chief Minister also laid foundation stone of new block of Block Development Office at Narkanda to cost Rs. 3.80 crore. He also made Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) office at Kumarsain functional through video-conferencing. The Chief Minister had announced opening of SDM office Kumarsain during his last visit to the area. The SDM office will initially be housed in tehsil complex Kumarsain.

The Chief Minister also paid obeisance at Mananeshwar Temple at Narkanda along with his wife and attended the “Bhagwat Katha” at the temple.

Chief Parliamentary Secretary Shri  Nand Lal, Vice-President HPCC Shri Kehar Singh Khachi, MLA Shri  Mohan Lal Bragta, Vice-Chairman SIDC, Shri Atul Sharma, Member BoD HPTDC Shri  Rupesh Kanwal, Advisor Marketing Board  Shri  Devendar Shyam, Vice-Chairman  HPMC Shri  Prakash Thakur, Pradhan  Narkanda Smt.  Kamlesh Kainthla, Chairperson, Nagar Panchayat  Narkanda, Smt. Raj Kanwal, Managing Director HPTDC Shri  Dinesh Malhotra  were also present on the occasion amongst others.
