Subdued monsoon increases rain deficit to 18 % in Himachal

Met predicts rains and thundershowers on August 6 and 7

Isolated places in Himachal Pradesh yesterday experienced light to moderate rains while other parts remained dry.  In dry areas, mostly lower hills, the temperature rose to about 37 degree Celsius.  In Kalpa and Keylong, the mercury dipped to minimum 12 degrees. The Met has predicted rains and thundershowers on August 6 and 7.
